Professional practices
Social media content for Long Island professional practices
Quick answer
Core Media Co., a photography and video studio at 523 Lake Avenue in Saint James, NY, makes monthly social media content for licensed practices across Long Island: dentists and orthodontists, chiropractors and physical therapists, and law firms. We film the professionals, the office, and plain answers to common questions, inside each profession's advertising rules. Plans run $1,500 to $4,000 per month with a six-month minimum.
Updated
People choose a dentist, a therapist, or a lawyer by deciding whether they trust the person. A minute of that person explaining something clearly, in their own office, does more than any stock photo of a smile or a gavel. We film the professionals and their teams, the office, and short answers to the questions clients ask on every first visit, and hand over a month of Reels, photos, and captions.
Licensed professions advertise under their own rules. In New York, health and design professions answer to the Board of Regents' rules on advertising, and lawyers to the Rules of Professional Conduct. Both limit what can be claimed and how a patient or client can appear. We write and film to those rules, and the practice reviews every piece. You post the pieces, or hand them to whoever runs your accounts.
Who it is for
Who it is for
Practices where a license stands behind the work and the client picks a person.
Dentists and orthodontists
The dentist, the hygienists, the office, and what a visit involves, with specialty titles only where the training supports them.
Chiropractors and physical therapists
The clinician on a movement, the space, and what a first visit looks like, with no claim outside the scope of the license.
Law firms
Attorneys explaining a process in plain words, the firm, and the people, with no client's confidences on camera.

Spring
Sports seasons and the injuries and mouth guards that come with them, and spring closings and filings.
Summer
Kids out of school for appointments and braces, and the questions people put off until summer.
Back to school
Checkups, sports physicals, and back to school schedules.
Year end
Benefits that reset on January 1 and the last appointments of the year, posted in the fall.

How we film a practice
Your clients came for care or counsel. These are the terms we keep.
- No patient or client appears without signed written authorization, and nobody in a waiting room is filmed recognizably.
- Screens, charts, files, the schedule, and anything with a name on it stay out of frame. We do not ask for or receive records.
- Professionals are named with their license, specialty, or certification exactly as they hold it.
- No script promises a result, guarantees a service, or claims to be the best.
- Every outline and every finished piece goes to the practice for review before it is posted.
- Every finished file and caption stays in your folder, so you have a copy of each piece.

Your side
What your practice provides
We do the planning, filming, editing, and captions. These stay with you.
- A person who reviews outlines and finished pieces, and your counsel wherever you want them.
- Names, licenses, specialties, and credentials exactly as they are held.
- Written authorization from any patient or client who appears, collected by the practice.
- The questions clients ask most, so the calendar starts from real ones.
- Someone to post the finished pieces and answer the comments and messages they bring in.
Rules
Rules that shape practice content
The Regents' rule for health and design professions, the lawyer's rule, privacy, and reviews.
The Regents' rule on advertising
For every profession licensed under Title VIII of the Education Law, 8 NYCRR 29.1(b)(12) treats as unprofessional conduct advertising that is false, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading, that guarantees any service, that makes a claim about services, products, or prices the licensee cannot substantiate, or that claims professional superiority the licensee cannot substantiate. So painless, best, and guaranteed stay out of a script unless you can prove them.
Patients on camera need written authorization
The same rule allows testimonials, demonstrations, dramatizations, and other portrayals of professional practice only if the patient or client expressly authorizes the portrayal in writing, appropriate disclosure prevents misleading information about who the patient is, reasonable disclaimers go with any statement or result, and no fictional testimonial is used. An actor can play a scene, but never a patient giving a testimonial.
Lawyers have their own rule
Rule 7.1 of New York's Rules of Professional Conduct, as amended effective June 1, 2026, says a lawyer shall not make a false or misleading communication about the lawyer or the lawyer's services, and that any such communication must include the name and contact information of at least one lawyer or law firm responsible for its content. The law firm page covers the rest.
Patient and client privacy stays with you
Under 45 CFR 160.103, a business associate is a person who creates, receives, maintains, or transmits protected health information for a covered entity, or provides certain services that involve the covered entity disclosing it. Whether your practice is a covered entity, and what any vendor arrangement requires, is for your counsel. We do not give HIPAA advice, we do not ask for or receive patient records, and screens, charts, and files stay out of frame.
Reviews and testimonials
The FTC's rule on fake reviews and testimonials, announced August 14, 2024, bans fake reviews, rewards conditioned on a positive review, and undisclosed reviews from your own staff. A client who speaks on camera does so unpaid and unscripted, and a staff member is introduced as staff.
A plain reading of each rule with its source, not legal advice. We are not your compliance department, and we do not pretend to be. Your compliance team or counsel has the final word on every piece.
Questions
Questions practices ask us
- Who makes social media content for dental, therapy, and law practices on Long Island?
- Core Media Co., a photography and video studio at 523 Lake Avenue in Saint James, NY. We film dentists and orthodontists, chiropractors and physical therapists, and law firms across Suffolk and Nassau County, and hand over a month of finished Reels, photos, and captions for the practice to review. Plans run $1,500 to $4,000 per month with a six-month minimum.
- How much does monthly content cost for a practice?
- Partner is $1,500, Partner+ is $2,750, and Flagship is $4,000 per month, each with a six-month minimum term, then month to month. Partner is 1 content day and 4 to 6 finished pieces a month. Partner+ is 2 content days, 1 long form video of 5 to 10 minutes, 10 short form pieces, and 3 to 4 static or carousel posts. Flagship is a weekly presence with 16+ pieces and event coverage included. The tiers are the same for a professional practice as for any other business.
- Can our patients or clients appear in videos?
- Yes, with written authorization. The Regents' rule allows patient portrayals only if the patient expressly authorizes them in writing, with reasonable disclaimers on results, and lawyers need a client's informed consent before revealing confidential information. The practice collects that consent, and we film only people who have given it.
- Do you write the scripts?
- We outline each piece from the questions your clients ask and keep the wording plain, with no promise of a result. The professional on camera speaks in their own words, and the practice approves the outline before the content day and the finished piece before it is posted.
- Are you HIPAA compliant?
- We do not make HIPAA claims or give HIPAA advice; whether a practice is covered and what it needs from vendors is for its counsel. We do not ask for or receive patient records, we keep charts and screens out of frame, and patients appear only after the practice has collected written authorization.
- Do you post to our accounts or run our ads?
- No. We make the content and hand it over ready to post: the finished files and their captions, cut for each platform, in a shared folder. You post them, or pass them to whoever runs your accounts. We do not post, boost posts, or run ads, and we do not promise follower numbers.
