Breweries, wineries, and tasting rooms
Social media content for Long Island breweries, wineries, and tasting rooms
Quick answer
Core Media Co., a photography and video studio at 523 Lake Avenue in Saint James, NY, makes monthly social media content for breweries, wineries, and tasting rooms across Long Island and the North Fork: brew days, the vineyard through the season, and the tasting room, built around the federal rule that treats a producer's social posts as advertising. Plans run $1,500 to $4,000 per month with a six-month minimum.
Updated
A brewery or a winery has a story a bar does not: where it is made. We film brew day from grain to fermenter, the vineyard from bud break to harvest, the cellar, the canning line, and the tasting room on a full Saturday, and fly the drone over the rows when airspace and weather allow, then hand over a month of Reels, photos, and captions.
Producers advertise under federal rules that bars do not. The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau treats a producer's social posts as advertising, so the mandatory information has to be on your profile or in the piece. We build every piece with that in mind. You post the pieces, or hand them to whoever runs your accounts.
Through the year
A producer's year, in content
The vineyard and the release calendar set the year. The North Fork's busy months fill the tasting room.
Spring
Bud break in the vineyard, spring releases, and the tasting room opening up for the season.
Summer
The vineyard in full leaf from above, summer beers, and the tasting room and lawn on a weekend.
Harvest
Picking, the crush pad, and fermentation, the busiest and most filmable weeks of a winery's year.
Winter
The cellar and barrel room, brew days, pruning, and the winemaker or brewer on what is coming next.
The work
What we make for a brewery or winery
Pieces that show where it is made and who makes it.
Brew day
Grain, mash, boil, and the fermenter, cut into one Reel.
The vineyard through the year
The same rows from the same spots each season, and from above. Every drone flight is flown by an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot.
Harvest and the crush
Picking crews, bins, the press, and the first juice, filmed from where the winemaker puts us.
The release
A new beer or vintage, the can or bottle, and the maker on what is in it.
The tasting room
The bar, the flight, and the room on a busy day, with no guest made recognizable without a release.
The people
Brewers, winemakers, cellar hands, and tasting room staff, one at a time, each with a signed release.

How we film a brewery or winery
Production floors, vineyards, and a busy tasting room. These are the rules.
- On the production floor we stand where your brewer or winemaker puts us, away from hoses, hot liquid, and forklifts.
- The drone flies over the rows when the vineyard and tasting lawn are clear of guests, never over people.
- No one under 21 appears with a drink, and no one is shown overconsuming.
- Guests are kept unrecognizable unless they sign a release.
- Every product shot shows the label as approved. We do not mock up a label or a can that does not exist yet without saying so.
- Captions about a specific product carry the information you give us for it, or point to where it lives on your profile.
A content month
What a month looks like
Examples of how each tier tends to fill for a brewery or winery. The content calendar sets the real mix around your releases and the season.
Partner
$1,500 per month
One content day, split between production and the tasting room. Four to six finished pieces, for example a brew day or vineyard Reel, a release piece, a tasting room piece, and a carousel, delivered within 5 business days.
Partner+
$2,750 per month
Two content days, often one in production or the vineyard and one on a busy tasting room day. One long form video of 5 to 10 minutes, such as the winemaker walking through harvest, ten short form pieces, and three to four static or carousel posts. 3 business day turnaround.
Flagship
$4,000 per month
A weekly presence through the season, with event coverage included, such as a release party or a harvest festival: 16+ finished pieces a month and 48 hour turnaround.

Your side
What your brewery or winery provides
We do the planning, filming, editing, and captions. These stay with you.
- Your release and harvest calendar, and access to production on the days that matter.
- The mandatory information for each product a piece features, and where it appears on your profile.
- Brewers, winemakers, and staff willing to be on camera, each with a signed release.
- Whoever posts and boosts your pieces, and sets any ad's age targeting.
- Someone to post the finished pieces and answer the comments and messages they bring in.
Rules
Rules that shape brewery and winery content
Federal advertising rules for producers, Meta's alcohol rules, consent, and drones.
Your posts are advertising under federal rules
The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau's Industry Circular 2024-1 says TTB considers content posted on social media by an industry member to be advertising under the Federal Alcohol Administration Act and its regulations, and that a downloadable or shared video that does not contain, or link back to, the mandatory information would be non-compliant. So each piece either carries that information, or runs where your profile carries it, as you and your compliance contact decide.
Boosting a post makes it an alcohol ad
Meta's Advertising Standards say ads that promote or reference alcohol must comply with all applicable local laws, include depictions of alcohol brands, consumption, and the availability of alcohol sales, and set the minimum age for alcohol ads in the United States at 21. We do not run ads, but whoever boosts a piece for you has to target it to 21 and over.
Guests and staff on camera
New York's Civil Rights Law section 50 makes it a misdemeanor to use a living person's name, portrait, picture, likeness, or voice for advertising or trade without their written consent, and section 51 lets that person sue to stop the use and recover damages. A diner at the next table is covered as much as your staff, so anyone recognizable in a piece has signed a release, and everyone else is kept unrecognizable.
No drone flights over guests
Under 14 CFR 107.39, a small drone may not fly over a person unless that person is directly participating in the flight, is under a covered structure or inside a stationary vehicle, or the operation meets one of the operational categories in subpart D. A guest on the tasting lawn is none of the first two, so aerials are flown when the rows and the lawn are clear. Every drone flight is flown by an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot. Core Media Co. is fully insured, and the coverage includes drone work.
Music needs a license for business use
Meta's Music Guidelines, which apply on Instagram and Facebook, say that using music for commercial or non-personal purposes is prohibited unless you have the appropriate licenses. We cut every piece to music licensed for it, or to none.

Questions
Questions breweries and wineries ask us
- Who makes social media content for wineries and breweries on Long Island?
- Core Media Co., a photography and video studio at 523 Lake Avenue in Saint James, NY. We film brew days, vineyards, harvest, and tasting rooms for breweries and wineries across Long Island and the North Fork, and hand over a month of finished Reels, photos, and captions. - How much does monthly content cost for a brewery or winery?

Partner+ is 2 content days, 1 long form video of 5 to 10 minutes, 10 short form pieces, and 3 to 4 static or carousel posts. Flagship is a weekly presence with 16+ pieces and event coverage included. The tiers are the same for a brewery or winery as for any other business.
- Do TTB advertising rules apply to our Instagram?
- TTB's Industry Circular 2024-1 says it considers content posted on social media by an industry member to be advertising, and that a shared video that does not contain or link back to the mandatory information would be non-compliant. Your compliance contact decides how you meet that; we build each piece to fit.
- Can you film harvest on the North Fork?
- Yes, from the picking crews to the crush pad, standing where your winemaker puts us, and from above when the rows are clear and airspace and weather allow. Every drone flight is flown by an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot. Core Media Co. is fully insured, and the coverage includes drone work.
- Will you film guests in the tasting room?
- Not recognizably without a signed release, and never anyone under 21 with a drink. The room reads as full from glasses, hands, backs, and soft focus.
- Do you post to our accounts or run our ads?
- No. We make the content and hand it over ready to post: the finished files and their captions, cut for each platform, in a shared folder. You post them, or pass them to whoever runs your accounts. We do not post, boost posts, or run ads, and we do not promise follower numbers.
