Drone and insurance
- Is your drone pilot FAA certified?
Yes. Every flight is flown by an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot, the certificate the FAA requires for commercial drone work.

- Is Core Media Co. insured for drone work?
Yes. Core Media Co. is fully insured, and the coverage includes drone work. Every drone flight is flown by an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot.

- Do you need a license to fly a drone for real estate on Long Island?
Yes. Real estate drone work is commercial, so the pilot needs an FAA remote pilot certificate under Part 107, and the drone must be registered and broadcast Remote ID. Near airports with controlled airspace, each flight also needs FAA authorization.

- Do I need FAA permission to fly a drone near MacArthur or Republic Airport?
Yes, inside their controlled airspace. MacArthur's Class C and Republic's Class D reach the ground around each airport, and a Part 107 pilot needs FAA authorization before flying there, usually through LAANC. Close to a runway the FAA may allow only a lower altitude, or review the request by hand, which takes longer. We check the exact address when you book, and our guide to real estate drone rules on Long Island explains the airspace.

- What happens if it is too windy to fly on the shoot day?
We watch the forecast and tell you before the shoot if wind or rain rules the aerials out, so we can agree on another time for the flight or go ahead without it.

Ownership and files
- Who owns the listing photos and video after the shoot?
You do, once the job is paid for. You own the finished work, with no usage restrictions, so the photos and video can go wherever you want to use them.

- Do we get the raw files?
You get the finished work: every piece edited, captioned, and cut for each platform, in a shared folder, and you own it once it is paid for, with no usage restrictions. Raw and unused footage and project files stay with us unless your agreement says otherwise. If you want them, we can write that into the agreement, usually for an additional fee.

Minimums and terms
- Is there a minimum term on a monthly content plan for real estate agents?
Yes. Every monthly plan for agents and teams has a 3-month minimum, stated in the agreement you sign before anything is scheduled. Business partnership tiers for local businesses, title agencies, and lenders have a six-month minimum term, then month to month.

- What if we have nothing to film this month?
On the monthly plans it converts into a studio session for your personal brand, so a month is never wasted. The listing caps are 2 on Agent Monthly, 4 on Producer Monthly, and 8 on Team Monthly. On business partnerships we build the calendar in advance, so this does not come up.

Posting and what you get each month
- Do you post the videos for us?
No. We make the videos and hand them over, edited, formatted for each platform, and with captions. You, or whoever runs your accounts, do the posting, and you own the finished work with no usage restrictions.

- How many Instagram Reels do we get each month?
It depends on the tier. Partner is 4 to 6 finished pieces a month from 1 content day. Partner+ is 10 short form pieces, 3 to 4 static or carousel posts, and 1 long form video of 5 to 10 minutes a month, from 2 content days. Flagship is 16+ finished pieces a month with a weekly presence. The content calendar sets which pieces are Reels before anything is filmed.

Events
- How many hours of event coverage do I need?
Every package includes 3 hours of coverage. If you want arrivals and setup as well as the program, or the event runs long, add hours. Coverage beyond 3 hours is $100 per hour on any tier. We work it out from your run of show on the call.
More on this: Event coverage
- Can I get the raw footage from my event?
Yes. Basic is built around it: 3 hours of coverage with the raw footage delivered. Standard and Premium are built around finished pieces, a hero recap and bonus reels. Whatever the package, you own the finished work, with no usage restrictions.

Areas served
- What areas do you cover?
All of Long Island. We are based in Saint James and work Suffolk and Nassau County regularly, plus New York City when a project calls for it.
More on this: Areas we serve
- Will a Long Island videographer travel to New York City?
We do when a project calls for it, such as event coverage or a content day for a business. We are a Long Island studio first, so we confirm the details on a call before anything is booked.

- How far east into Suffolk County do you shoot?
As far as a listing calls for it, out to Montauk, Shelter Island, and Orient Point. The Hamptons, Shelter Island, and the North Fork each have a town page. Lot sizes and drive times both grow toward the East End, and we build that travel time into the schedule rather than into the price, since listing media is priced per listing and not by the mile.
