Northport, NY
Social media content for Northport businesses, from the top of Main Street to the dock.
Quick answer
Core Media Co., a photography and video studio at 523 Lake Avenue in Saint James, makes monthly social media content for Northport businesses: restaurants, cafes, shops, and harbor businesses on Main Street. We film around your hours, the meters, and the village's event weekends, and hand over finished Reels, photos, and captions, ready to post. Plans run $1,500 to $4,000 per month with a six-month minimum.
Updated
Northport is west of our studio along Route 25A, through Kings Park and Fort Salonga. Its Main Street begins at the harbor, so the businesses on it share a backdrop worth filming: the trolley rails in the street, the water at the bottom of the hill, and the park along the harbor. We film at your restaurant, cafe, shop, or office and turn it into a month of content.
Each month we plan the pieces with you, film them in one or two content days, and hand over short form video, photos, and carousel posts with captions, cut for each platform and ready to post. You post them, or hand them to whoever runs your accounts, and you own the finished work.
Northport
A Victorian village center that runs down to the harbor
Northport is a village in the Town of Huntington, a waterfront community on the eastern side of Northport Harbor, incorporated in 1894. The Town of Huntington notes that it is the only incorporated village in the town with a central downtown business district. Main Street runs from the Village Green along the harborfront, and the village center is Victorian, with rails still in the street from a streetcar line that stopped running long ago.
In 1932 the village bought land along the harbor and created the park that is still a defining feature of the village, with the docks beside it. Main Street has restaurants and ice cream parlors, the village has a theater built in 1912, and in summer the park's bandstand holds Wednesday evening concerts while the Cow Harbor Park lot holds a Saturday morning farmers market. So content for a Northport business can show the village as well as the business.
Who it is for
Businesses on Main Street and around the harbor
For businesses people look up before a dinner downtown, a show, or an afternoon by the water.
Restaurants and cafes
The room, the kitchen, and the plates, filmed before service, with the street or the harbor in the window when it helps.
Ice cream, bakeries, and sweets
The counter and what comes out of the freezer or the oven, filmed while it still looks its best.
Shops and boutiques
New arrivals, the window, and the owner who chose them, filmed before the door opens.
Boating and harbor businesses
Boats, the water, and the people who run them, with aerials when airspace and weather allow.
Salons, studios, and wellness
The space, the team, and the work, with permission from anyone who appears on camera.
Offices and professional services
Your people and your work, filmed at your office in the village or at our studio.
Title agencies and lenders have their own pages, with notes on how the work is structured: title agencies and mortgage lenders.
On the day
Planning a content day on Northport's Main Street
On Main Street, the clock and the calendar shape a content day as much as the shot list does.
Meters and the two-hour limit
The Main Street meters, electronic since 2024, take coins, cards, or an app, with a two-hour maximum and fees from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. A content day runs longer than two hours, so we plan crew parking before the day and keep the gear inside your place.
The sidewalk, the street, and the park
Most content days stay inside your business. When a shot needs the sidewalk, the street, or the park and docks along the harbor, we ask Village Hall first; the Suffolk County Film Commission lists the Assistant to the Mayor as the village's contact for filming. Outside the village, filming on Town of Huntington property needs a town film permit, filed at least 5 business days ahead.
Cow Harbor weekend
In September the Great Cow Harbor 10K is run on the Saturday, and on Cow Harbor Day, the Sunday, Main Street and the parking lots near the water close to cars. In 2026 that weekend was September 19 and 20. No regular content day goes on it, though it is a natural subject for event coverage.
Summer at the waterfront
Wednesday evening concerts at the bandstand and a Saturday morning farmers market in the Cow Harbor Park lot fill the waterfront in July and August. We schedule around them, or into them, depending on what the month's content needs.
A content month
What a month of content looks like
Three tiers, the same ones on the For Business page and the same in every town. Partner is $1,500, Partner+ is $2,750, and Flagship is $4,000 per month, each with a six-month minimum term, then month to month. Every tier includes a content calendar planned in advance.
Examples of how each tier tends to fill for a Northport restaurant, shop, or harbor business. The content calendar sets the real mix before anything is filmed.

What Our Clients Say
From our Google reviews.
"Chase is a talented photographer with an excellent eye for perfection. As a professional business owner he takes a great deal of pride with scheduling and following up and always goes the extra mile. We highly recommend Core Media for all you photography needs!"
Andre LaBarbera
"This was my first project with Core Media. As a realtor I always have videos of my listings but on this very special new construction, I need something truly different and special. Core Media took my photos and made a video come to life showing real people in all different rooms. This gave me a new way to showcase the home and really portray what it looks like to live there. Realistic plus many creative twists, made this video a show stopper. I highly recommend them."
Monique J Serena

He handled everything from the content and music to providing scripts for me to choose from and made me feel completely at ease in front of the camera. The video came out perfect, and I received so many compliments!"

Questions
Questions Northport businesses ask us
- Who makes social media content for businesses in Northport, NY?
- Core Media Co., a photography and video studio at 523 Lake Avenue in Saint James. We are east of the village along Route 25A, and we film restaurants, cafes, shops, and harbor businesses on Main Street and around the village, then hand over a month of finished Reels, photos, and captions, ready to post. Plans run $1,500 to $4,000 per month with a six-month minimum.
- Do we need a permit to film at our business on Main Street in Northport?
- We plan most content days inside your business, so the street is rarely involved. When a shot needs the sidewalk, the street, or the park along the harbor, we check with Village Hall before the day; the Suffolk County Film Commission lists the Assistant to the Mayor as the village's contact for filming. This is a planning note, not legal advice.
- When should we avoid scheduling a shoot in Northport?
- Cow Harbor weekend in September, when the Great Cow Harbor 10K runs on the Saturday and Main Street and the waterfront lots close to cars on the Sunday, and summer Wednesday evenings, when the bandstand has concerts. A weekday morning is the easy default, and the big weekends are better for event coverage.
- How much does monthly content cost for a Northport business?
- Partner is $1,500, Partner+ is $2,750, and Flagship is $4,000 per month, each with a six-month minimum term, then month to month. Partner is 1 content day and 4 to 6 finished pieces a month. Partner+ is 2 content days, 1 long form video of 5 to 10 minutes, 10 short form pieces, and 3 to 4 static or carousel posts. Flagship is a weekly presence with 16+ pieces and event coverage included. A business in Northport pays the same tiers as a business next door to the studio.
- Do you work in East Northport and the rest of the Town of Huntington too?
- Yes, on the same tiers across the Town of Huntington, from East Northport and Centerport to Huntington village, which has its own page. Content days happen at your place or at our studio in Saint James.
